Construction progress monitoring
Construction monitoring is a recurring aerial record of a site as it changes. Flown on a set schedule, it gives owners, general contractors, and lenders a clear view of where a project stands without a site visit.
The same vantage point over time becomes a timeline: earthwork and clearing, foundation work, structural framing, building skin, and sitework, each captured on a known date with consistent coverage.
What monitoring supports
- +Lender draw documentation: dated aerial imagery of current site conditions for draw request packages
- +Owner progress reporting: scheduled updates for owners reviewing from off-site
- +Dispute resolution: a dated visual record of site conditions at any point in the project
- +Phase documentation: clearing complete, grading complete, foundation poured, structure topped out
- +Subcontractor coordination: shared site view for teams working across multiple offices
Schedule and deliverables
Flights are scheduled at the interval the project requires: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or tied to construction milestones. Each flight produces high-resolution stills, an overview pass, and a dated archive entry. Repeatable flight paths give clean before-and-after comparison.
Pairing with BMP inspections
For NPDES-permitted sites, construction monitoring flights can be scheduled alongside BMP inspections to cover both compliance documentation and progress reporting in a single visit. This reduces mobilization and keeps both records on the same flight date.
